It's been a long, hard journey for Trapper. It began about 6 months ago when a local skeet shooting club found him in pretty rough shape. Trapper was severely injured and extremely scared. His guardian angels couldn't have come for him at a better time. They brought him to HSCAZ where he has been recovering ever since. His right leg was broken, completely shattered, and his left hip was out of place and had been for too long to reset. After months of splint changes, radiographs and many Vet visits to heal his broken leg, he finally was cleared for his FHO (femoral head osectomy) last week as his right leg was finally ready to be his "good leg". Surgery went well and Trapper is getting around better than ever. The next few weeks will be spent doing physical therapy and regular check-ups. We hope Trapper's next photo shoot will be with his new forever family!
